O Sa'eed, son of Wahab
O Sa'id, son of Wahb,
Listen, I implore you, to my words
Listen—may I be your ransom—to my plea:
I have fallen for a gazelle
I have fallen in love with a gazelle,
Who aids me with charm
Who aids me in my desire;
When my messenger comes to him
So when my messenger comes to him,
Let him not spurn my messenger
Let him not turn my messenger away.
