Oh, if only the one blaming was present to forbid me
Oh, would that the augur's warning were present with me,
When I was confused between her letter and her look
As I stood bewildered between her letter and the rising star,
She sealed my complaint to her with a ring
She stamped a seal upon my complaint with a signet ring,
On which she engraved: My departure does you good
Upon which she engraved: "Many a separation proves beneficial."
