1. فَدَيتُكِ لَم أَنَلكِ بِغَيرِ طَرفي

    فَكُلّي حاسِدٌ طَرفي عَلَيكِ

    I ransom you, though I have attained you with naught but my eyes,

    So every envier of my eyes toward you is hostile.

  2. لَئِن آثَرتِ بَعضي دونَ بَعضي

    وَذَلِكَ يا مُنائي في يَدَيكِ

    If you prefer some of me over some other part,

    That, O my beloved, is in your hands.

  3. لَقَد أَودَعتِ مَن لَم تُسعِفيهِ

    بِحاجَتِهِ تَباريحاً إِلَيكِ

    You have entrusted with one whose need you did not gratify

    Distresses sent to you.
