I love the north wind when it blows,
I love the North Wind whenever it draws near,
For it is said it passed by my beloved's abode.
For they say it has passed by the beloved's abode.
Without doubt it would do so,
And without a doubt, such is his way,
If the southern wind were to meet it.
When he is met by the wind from the South.
A little singing, and much sorrow,
Of little solace and lasting despair,
The winds encounter, for what lies in hearts.
Is greeting the winds for the sake of the heart.
