My yearning is long, and my patience wears thin
The length of my yearning and the limits of my patience
Turning my heart over with anxious thoughts within
Toss my heart about in endless thought.
Love is my guest, cloistered away in my core
For love is a guest that has taken sanctuary within me,
While my heart is in peril, tempting fate evermore
And my heart, from this ordeal, stands on the brink of danger.
Longing awakes from its slumber deep inside
Awakening longing from its hidden recesses
A face as fair as the moon in its pride
Is a face whose beauty glories over the moon.
