How many a wondrous tale I have for you,

Had I but sent it forth, it would please you,

More novel than repetition, fresher still,

When conversation's art does so compel,

And I envision you enraptured by its charm,

Tracing it eagerly by your hand's calm,

Seeking its gems in wonder and delight,

Relating it to those dear till laughter's height.
