1. لِحُبِّكَ مِن قَلبي حِمىً لا يَحُلُّهُ

    سِواكَ وَعَقدٌ لَيسَ خَلقٌ يَحُلُّهُ

    For your love in my heart there's a fever only you can break

    An unbreakable bond no being can sever or forsake

  2. وَقَد كُنتَ أَطلَقتَ المُنى لي بِمَوعِدٍ

    وَقَدَّرتَ لي وَقتاً وَهَذا مَحَلُّهُ

    You promised me yourself and set a time and place

    Yet under what law or creed can you justify taking my life

  3. فَفي أَيَّ حُكمٍ أَو عَلى أَيَّ مَذهَبٍ

    تُحِلُّ دَمي وَاللَهُ لَيسَ يَحُلُّهُ

    When not even God has the right to take what He gave?
