  2. وشيَّدتِ القصورَ على هَواها

    وهامت بالزخارفِ والنقوش

    And erected palaces according to her desires

    And was fascinated with ornaments and carvings

  3. وفي الزهراءِ والحمراءِ جرَّت

    ذيولاً نَسجُها من عَهدِ كوش

    And in the blossoms and the red she dragged

    Tails woven from the era of Koush

  4. وجنّاتُ العريفِ إذا اسبكرَّت

    تلوحُ على محيَّاها البشوش

    And the gardens of al-Areef when they bloom early
