The one who described my attributes, my Lord continuously
Made me a devoted slave, O Gate
هو صفا شربي برضاب خمار
ليا صفات المعنى يا باب
He quenched my thirst with the wine of satisfaction
To the one with the essence of meaning, O Gate
الخاين فأوصال اطرق هنايا
بهذا اللساسي تبعنا يا باب
The traitor's limbs, I strike here
With this, my tongue, we followed you, O Gate
وقتك عمر خيم تمارك
هو نور غراسك يا باب
Your time is a lifetime of tents pitched
It is the light of your planting, O Gate
