أرجو الذي سجدت له الأكوان كر

ها أو طواعية مدى الأزمان

I implore the One to whom the universes bowed down in worship

With willingness throughout the ages

ومن الذي عنت الوجوه لوجهه

رب العوالم مفزع اللهفان

And the One to whom faces turned in devotion

Lord of all worlds, refuge of the yearners

يكفيك كل عظيمة عيا ويلب

سكم حنان عواطف وتهاني

May He suffice you every greatness, woe, and affliction

With tranquility, affection, and congratulations

وينيلكم أرقى الأماني والمعا

لي والعوالي والمجالي الشان

And may He grant you the most sublime wishes and heights

And the loftiest and most glorious perfections

ويتيح من نعماه فتحا عاجلا

وفواتحا وسوانح الهتان

And may He, from His bounties, grant an imminent opening

And keys, and instances of madness in love

غفرانك اللهم قد أودى بنا

شؤم الذنوب إلى بساط هوان

O Allah, Your forgiveness has led us

To the abasement of sins' ill omen

وتلوثت منا العقول وأظلمت

منا القلوب ولطخت بألوان

And our minds have been corrupted and darkened

Our hearts muddied with colors

وتعامت النفس الشرودة إنها

أمارة بالسوء والبهتان

And the wandering soul has been complacent, it is

Inclined to evil and falsehood

غفرانك غفرا إلهي فأنت أن

ت وإنني البين الخسران

Your divine forgiveness, for You are the One

And I am the evident loser

تب وزك واعف واغفر واسترن

سترا حصينا في أمان أماني

Repent, purify, pardon, forgive and conceal

With an impenetrable veil of security

وأتح لنا حسن العواصم والمغا

نم والخواتم ثم ذروة الملوان

And prepare for us excellent conclusions and endings

Then the pinnacle of hopes
