لا غَرْوَ أنْ لم نَجِدْ في الدَّهرِ مُختَرِفاً

فقد أتيْناهُ بعدَ الشَّيْبِ والخَرَفِ

No stranger that we have not found in this life a refuge

For we have reached it after gray hair and senility
