النارُ آخرُ دينارٍ نطَقتَ به

والهمُّ آخر هذا الدرهم الجاري

Fire is the last dinar you have spoken of

And worry is the last of this flowing dirham

والمرءُ بينهما إن كان مفتقراً

معذبُ القلبِ بينَ الهمِّ والنارِ

And man between them, if he is needy

Tormented in heart between worry and fire
