لقاءُ أكثرِ مَنْ يلقاكَ أوزارُ

فلا تُبالِ أصَدُّوا عنكَ أوْ زاروا

Meeting more of those who meet you are burdens,

So do not care if they block you or burden you.

لُهمْ لديْكَ إذا جاؤوكَ أوطارُ

فإنْ قضَوْها تَنَحَّوْا عنكَ أو طاروا

They have wishes when they come to you as guests,

If they accomplish them, they will turn away from you or fly away.

أخلاقُهُم فتجَبَّنْهُنَّ أو عارُ

وقربُهُم مأثَمٌ للقلبِ أو عارُ

Their morals, so beware of them, are shameful,

And their company is sinful for the heart or shameful,

أو ضارُ أفعالِهِم تُعدي مُعاشِرَهُم

فلا يَرَوْنكَ فقِدْماً مَن رأوْا ضارُوا

Or their harmful actions exceed associating with them.

So do not miss those who, when they saw you, found harm.
