وسائلُ النَّاسِ شَتّى عِندَ سادَتِهِمْ

ولي وسائلُ آدابي وآمالي

The people's means are diverse with their masters

And my means are my manners and my hopes

فاسحَبْ ببِرِّكَ أذيالاً على أملي

أسحَبْ بشُكرِكَ ما عُمِّرْتُ أذيالي

So draw with your righteousness the train on my hope

Draw with your gratitude what my train has lived
