A perilous journey I had undertaken
Across a wasteland of awe and tribulation
With a lively, striding, nimble she-camel
A feral, desert-bred beast
At dawn, as soon as the sun would rise
She would set out seeking to please me
O faithful companion, do right by us, do not cross
Your soul beyond what you can endure
Until you bring us to a sovereign
Whom God has crowned with reverence
Upon his head, two crowns above his temples
A crown of majesty, a crown of devotion
He says to the wind, whenever it blows tempestuous:
"Do you have it in you, O wind, to compete with me?"
Who can compare to one whose uncle is the Messenger and whose
Maternal uncles are the most honorable of allies?
