Every living being, his fate is known

Neither misery nor bliss are lasting

A man is envied for his bliss in the morning

Then by evening his life is blamed

And when the poor is content with what God gives him

His misery and bliss are equal

He who wants wealth should not ask people

For asking brings humiliation and blame

With patience and contentment comes the wealth of life

For asking brings humiliation and blame

People are like cattle in fate

The ignorant and the learned are equal

A young man’s prudence does not bring him sustenance

Nor does the incapable count as destitute
