يا أَيُّها المُختالُ في مَشيِهِ

هَل لَكَ أَن تَنظُرَ في القَبرِ

O you who strut in your walk

Would you care to look inside the grave

حَتّى تَرى القَبرَ وَمَن حَلَّهُ

ثُمَّ تَرى رَأيَكَ في الكِبرِ

To see the grave and who occupies it

Then reconsider your arrogance
