God delivers from misfortune—not my caution.

Every good and evil has been inscribed by fate.

A person may be spared the very thing he fears,

And through caution may come to misfortune.

Sheer falsehood is recognized on sight,

But truth is known through examples and lessons.

The unseen is established in reason by its witness,

And knowledge is broader than sight or transmitted report.
