O my reproachful beloved, have you no religion
That my heart remains hostage to you indefinitely?
I remain humble to all that you have burdened me with
I remain wretched, miserable and helpless
In the morning I console every weeping lover
And accompany every youth in love
It's fine, I have some respite for that
For a youth in love to find a sad one is sad too
O my reproach where can I flee from you my princess
When your love has imprisoned me in an impregnable fortress
