1. يا عَمودَ الإِسلامِ خَيرَ عَمودِ

    وَالَّذي صيغَ مِن حَياءٍ وَجودِ

    O pillar of Islam, best of pillars,

    And the one who is made of modesty and existence,

  2. وَالَّذي فيهِ ما يُسَلّي ذَوي الأَح

    زانِ عَن كُلِّ هالِكٍ مَفقودِ

    And in whom is what consoles those with heavy loads,

    From every lost, ruined one,

  3. وَالأَمينُ المُهَذَّبُ الهاشِمِيُّ ال

    قَرمُ مَحضُ الآباءِ مَحضُ الجُدودِ

    And the trusted, well-mannered Hashimite,

    The noble descendant of pure fathers, descendant of pure ancestors,

  4. إِنَّ يَوماً أَراكَ فيهِ لَيَومٌ

    طَلَعَت شَمسُهُ بِسَعدِ السُعودِ

    Indeed one day I will see you in it, a day,

    Whose sun rose with the good fortune of joys.
