    The events will inevitably come

Between the fragrance of dates and one departing

Sometimes the healthy will suddenly fall ill

And sometimes the sick will be granted good health

God knows what our hearts conceal

And nothing is hidden from God

Where are those who hoarded treasures and hoped

Where are the generations, sons of past generations

They have gone and their dwellings became

    Desolate and their cities empty

How strange is one who forgets the graves and decay

Glory to He who gives life to withered bones
