قَد ماتَ خِلّي وَإِنسي

مُحَمَّدُ بنُ يَزيدِ

My friend and companion are dead

Muhammad, son of Yazid

ما المَوتُ وَاللَهِ مِنّا

خِلافَهُ بِبَعيدِ

By God, death is not far from us

It follows closely behind
