كَنتُ المُمَزِّقَ مَرَّةً

فَاليَومَ قَد صِرتُ المُمَزَّقُ

Once, I was the one who tore;

But today, I have become the torn.

لَمّا جَرَيتُ مَعَ الضِلالِ

غَرِقَت في بَحرِ الشَمَقمَقُ

When I ran alongside error,

I drowned in the sea of Al-Shamaqmaq.
