أواه من ألم الفراق لأنه

داء جسيم يا له من داء

Oh, the pain of separation is grievous

An affliction, what an affliction

لم يشفه إلا اللقا لكنه

يخفيه خوف شماتة الأعداء

It is only cured by reunion but

Fear of enemies' gloating conceals it

للعارفين إذا تعاظم كربهم

ودهتهم الدنيا برهص بلاء

When their troubles grow for the gnostics

And the world confounds them with ordeals

وتراكمت فرق المهمة حولهم

لوذ بساحة حامي البطحاء

And circles of duties surround them

They take refuge in the Blessed Sanctuary

سر الوجود أمام أهل الجود عن

وان الشهود وسيد الشفعاء

The secret of existence is unveiled for the generous

That the Witness and Master of Intercession

عين للعيون الجوهر المكنون كشا

ف المهمة ملجأ الضعفاء

Is an eye for eyes, the hidden gem

A refuge for the weak in tribulations

باب لنيل الخير والأفراح دا

فع كل خوف مزعج وقضاء

A door for attaining good and joys

Dispelling every disturbing fear and destiny

أرجو به الفرج القريب لأنني

عظمت على بلبتي وعنائي

Through him I hope for relief soon

As my afflictions and sorrows have grown

هو سلم المدد الخفي وصاحب ال

قدر العلي ومأمل الفقراء

He is the ladder of hidden aid and the Lord

Of high decree, and hope of the destitute

ظني به الظن الجميل ولن أرى

إلاه في كل المور حمائي

My supposition of him is good, I will only see

Him as my protector in all matters

وبه لجأت بذلتي وبزلتي

وبخمل ذنب كالجبال ورائي

In my humility and lapses,

And the mountains of sins behind me

وبهم عصر آه من أوقاته

وبهم أعداء وقطع رجاء

And in the times that wrench my sighs

And in the enemies and dashed hopes

وبقطع حبل من بني الدنيا ووص

ل القصد في ساحاته بصفاء

And severed ties from the people of this world, and arrived

With sincerity in His courtyards

حاشاه أن يرضى بردي أنه

بحر الرجا والفضل والإعطاء

He would never be pleased with rejecting me

For He is the sea of hope, grace and giving

وبه يلوذ المسلون وظله الظل

ل الظليل لنيل كل مناء

The refugees take refuge in His shade

To attain all wishes and goods

صلى عليه اللَه ما نشر الدجى

وأتى الصباح بطلعةٍ غراء

May Allah send blessings upon Him as long

As the horizon spreads the darkness and the dawn comes with a radiant rise

وعلى بنيه الطيبين وصحبه

وعلى الخصوص البضعة الزهراء

And upon His good progeny, his companions

And especially the Fragrant Blossoms

وعلى جميع التابعين وآلهم

والأولياء الأتقيا النجباء

And upon all the followers and their families

The pious, eminent saints

والقائمين بحفظ عهد طريقهم

من آلهم أو من بني الغرباء

And those who uphold the pact of their path

From their families or foreign sons

يرجو بهم كشف الخطوب أبو الهدى

ونجاح ما يبغي بكل رضاء

Abu Al-Huda hopes through them for relief from afflictions

And the success of what he desires in full contentment
