Our secret signs have softened for you,

And sheets from them flow with your meanings.

I've hidden for you in their folds their mysteries,

And signs of glad tidings have appeared in their margins.

Our souls have always wandered around you,

From longing for you we have sighs and moans.

Oh God, in finding you - and oh! - in you

Secrets and hidden things with this distinction.

Hearts longing for you with no rest

Except in you, and to mend the separation, remedies.

Our hearts forever harbor passion for you

And hearts have with what they harbor differences.
