سراج المرسلن أبي المعالي

ملاذ الكون غياث الوقيع

Lamp of the Messengers, my Master of Glorious Attributes

Refuge of the universe, savior of the fallen

معين العاجزين نصيرٌ لاج

دهى من صدمة الدهر المربع

Helper of the helpless, victorious defender of refugees

He dispelled the gloom cast by the pounding vicissitudes of time

تسامى في سما العليا وضجت

بمدحته ملائكة الرفيع

He rose to the highest heaven, and it roared

With the angels' praises of his glory on high

أتانا في ربيع في ربيع

فكان لطرزها عين الربيع

He came to us in spring, in spring

And so its character was the essence of spring
