نحن شوقا لمن شط المزار بهم

عسى الذي قدر التفريق عن كرم

يمن بالجمع والاحزان تندفع

May He who decreed this parting be so kind

To bring us back together and sorrows dispel

تقول حلت بك الآلام منزلة

عليك نيرانها يا قلب تطلع

You say afflictions have made you their abode

And all their fires on you, O heart, now dwell

سهل عليك الذي تلقاه من الم

ان كان شملك بالاحباب يجتمع

May He who sends you this pain make it light
