طعن الحسود بنا لخفة عقله

وعدا علينا في عساكر جهله

The envious stabbed us because of his feeble mind

And attacked us with the armies of his ignorance

وأراد يطفي نورنا من حمقه

بمذمة هي عين منهج فعله

He wanted to extinguish our light out of his stupidity

With slander that is the essence of his own deeds

سترد تلك النبل في أحشائه

وتكون أسبابً لقطعة حبله

That nobility will bounce back into his guts

And become the reason to cut off his rope

نقل الكرامة إن بدا منا فلا

عيب لأن الشيء جاء من أهله

Transferring generosity, if it appears from us, is no defect

Because a thing came from its rightful people

والفرع مهما قصرته حظوظه

عن قدره الأصلي يرد لأصله

And the branch, no matter how little its luck

Returns to its origin, to its root

والسبع إن قطعته نكتة حكمة

عن غاية فخصاله في شبله

And the lion, if a wise joke cuts it

From its ultimate goal, so its traits are in its cub

والسيف إن غمدته راحة كاذب

في غمده فالسر داخل نصله

And the sword, if rest deceives it in its sheath

Then the secret is inside its blade

فلكم أبو جهل أشاع تعانداً

عن خير هادٍ ما أشاع بقوله

So how many times did Abu Jahl spread obstinately

Against the good guide - what he spread with his saying

وأراد هدم مناره العالي وقد

رفع المهيمن ركن شامخ فضله

He wanted to destroy his high minaret, even though

The All-Mighty established a lofty pillar of his superiority

والأنبياء أولو المعالي كلهم

أخواته حسدوا كذا من قبله

And the supreme prophets, all of them

His brothers envied him just like before him

والسادة الأصحاب والأتباع مذ

عرفوه نالوا أسوةً من طوله

And the masters, the companions and followers, when

They knew him, took example from his length

لا بأس إن قال الكذوب أو افترى

في شأننا فاللَه خاذل مثله

No problem if the liar said or slandered

About us, for God is the defeater of the likes of him

واللَه خير الناصرين لمثلنا

وكفى بقوة ربنا وبحوله

And God is best of the supporters for the likes of us

And the power of our Lord and His capability are enough

قام العدو بفرقةٍ وبعزوة

وكذاك قمنا بالنبي وأهله

The enemy stood with division and hostility

And so did we with the Prophet and his family

وسعى على تشتيت عصبة شملنا

وقضى الإله بفصل جمعة شمله

And he strove to disperse the unity of our group

While God decreed the reunion of its unity

ما ذاك عند الغافلين ذوي النهى

رجل ولا حكم لغارة خيله

That is not, to the heedless prohibitors

A man, nor judgment for the raid of his horses

هو قائم بالزور في طلب العلا

والزور مرصاد عليه لخذله

He stands with falsehood seeking heights

While falsehood lies in ambush for his defeat

والغدر مفتاح لنكبة جاهه

والمكر مقراض لقدة وصله

And betrayal is the key to the downfall of his glory

And scheming is the cutter of his connection

فالناس تأخذه بسيء حاله

واللَه يقصمه بصارم عدله

So the people will take him for his bad state

And God will break him with the blade of His justice

قل للجهول مكرت بالأشراف عن

كبر وقعت بحفرةٍ من غوله

Say to the ignorant who schemed against the noble

Out of arrogance, you have fallen into a pit of your folly

ونسيت ظلماً باس ضربة جدهم

طه الذي داس البساط بنعله

And in injustice you forgot the slap of their grandfather

Taha who trampled the carpet with his slipper

صلى عليه اللَه والأصحاب ما

رد العدا بجلاله عن أهله

May God bless him and the Companions whenever

He repelled the enemies from his family
