وهى حملي وضقت لثقل حوبي

وعز الصبر من ألم الذنوب

My burden weighs heavily with my sins

Patience is difficult with the pain of wrongdoing

وما لي منجد يحمي حمائي

ويطفي لي بنصرته لهيبي

I have no savior to protect my refuge

And quench my burning flames with his victory

وقد قوبلت من رهط الأعادي

وأهل الحق بالعجب العجيب

I have been met by a horde of enemies

And the people of truth with strange wonder

وحسادي رموني مذ تعالوا

علي لقصد نفس بالمعيب

My enviers have attacked me since they came

To my soul with the blame of flaws

وافشوا الافترا وبغوا وجاروا

وجاؤني ببغضهم الغريب

They spread lies and wronged and transgressed

And came at me with their strange hatred

وقالوا في ما قالوا وأبدوا ال

إشاعة للبعيد وللقريب

They said in their words and showed

Rumors to both near and far

هنالك ضقت ذرعاً من همومي

وقد روحت نفسي بالنحيب

There my chest was squeezed by my worries

And my soul cried with weeping

وقلت لنفسي ارتاحي وخلي

عناءك واركني طبعاً وطيبي

And I said to myself, find peace

And leave your troubles, relax and be serene

لك اتضحت طريق النجح حقاً

بظل عناية الهادي الأديب

For the path of success has been made clear

In the shadow of the care of the righteous Guide

نعم كل الهموم الدهم تجلى

إذا عرضت لأعتاب الحبيب

Yes, all the sorrows and worries disappear

When presented at the threshold of the Beloved

أمام المرسلين حمى البرايا

مغيث الملتجى حصن الغريب

Before the Messengers, guardian of the wilderness

Savior of the desperate, fortress of the stranger

مدار حقائق الأسرار معنى

تجلى سر برائنا المجيب

Essence of the truths and secrets, meaning

Of the manifestation of our innocence, the Responder

مفسر حكمة القرآن مولى

صدور النبيا غوث الكئيب

Interpreter of the wisdom of the Quran, Master

Of the breasts of the prophets, aid of the sorrowful

محل عناية الرحمن مجرى

ندا الرحموت مفتاح الغيوب

Focus of the Mercy of the Merciful, course

Of the fount of mercy, key to the unseen

أبو الزهرا أبو الأكوان جد ال

حسين ابن النجيب أبي النجيب

Father of flowers, father of the worlds, ancestor

Of Hussein son of the eminent, son of the eminent

عريض الجاه علة خلق كل ال

وجود ودولة الرب القريب

With vast glory, cause of the creation of all

Existence and kingdom of the Near Lord

أناديه وأخجل من ذنوبي

وليس سواه أطلب من مجيب

I call upon him and am shy of my sins

And none but him do I seek as a respondent

فإن عضال دائي ضر جسمي

وهل إلا أبو الزهرا طبيبي

For the difficulties of my illness and harm to my body

And who but the father of flowers is my healer

رسول اللَه خير الكل يا من

ببابك لذت بالدمع الصبيب

Messenger of God, best of all, O you at

Whose door I found joy with tearful lament

تداركني ولاحظ عرض حالي

بفضلك واكفني بلوى الخطوب

Save me and note the state I am in

With your grace and spare me the pain of sorrows

وعاملني بشأنك واحم فضلاً

حماي فأنت كشاف الكروب

Treat me in your way and kindly protect

My refuge so you, dispeller of anguish

وفي الأخرى تداركني بعون

والحقني بموكبك المهيب

And in the end, save me with your help

And join me in your magnificent procession

عليك صلاة ربك كل آن

وأصحاب ذوي شرفٍ حسيب

The prayers of your Lord be upon you at all times

And your noble and esteemed companions

وللآل الكرام ذوي المعالي

وأقطاب محبتهم نصيبي

And for the honorable family, people of nobility

And devotees, my allotted share

بهم أرجوا العناية ضقت صدراً

وعز الصبر من ألم الذنوب

Through them I hope for care, my chest squeezed
