ما أحلى ليالي الهنا
ما بين الأقمارْ
How lovely are our nights of intimacy
Between the moons
والكاسْ يدور بيننا
يا جمعَ الأخيارْ
And the cup circulating among us
O gathering of the virtuous
نشربْ لذيذْ خمرنا
نعاين الأسرار
We drink our sweet wine
And observe the secrets
من خمره صافيه
بيضاء نقيه
From its pure, white wine
Circulating among us
بها يدورَ بيننا
ساقي الحميه
Is the cupbearer of fervor
Arise, my boon companion, let us seize
قم يا نديم نغتنم
ساعة هنيه
An hour of bliss
The breeze blew, and the sublime gathering
هبَ النسيمْ طابتْ
الحضرة العليه
Became fragrant
From it drank before us
منها شربْ قبلنَا
آدمْ وموسى
Adam, Moses
And Idris when he ascended
وادريسُ لما رقي
ويحيى وعيسى
And John and Jesus
And the righteous devouts
والصالحين التُقى
شربوا كوسي
Drank from the goblet
And their hearts were pure
وقلوبهم صافيه
بيضه نقيه
White and immaculate
And He granted them in the Gardens
وَهَبْ لهم في الجنانْ
درجه عليه
A lofty abode
Arise, my boon companion, let us seize
قمْ يا نديمْ نغتم
ساعه هنيه
An hour of bliss
The breeze blew, and the sublime gathering
هبَ النسيمْ طابت
الحضره العليه
Became fragrant
The people of purity with purity
أهلُ الصفا بالصفا
نالوا المعالي
Attained the heights
They drank the cups of the Beloved
شربوا كؤوسَ الحبيبْ
والحبُ غالي
And love is precious
And they entrusted their affairs
وفوضوا أمرهَم
لذو الجلالِ
To the Lord of Majesty
Wretched is he who blames me
مسكين من لامني
على السنيه
For my devotion
And does not intend his deeds
ولا يكونْ العملْ
إلا بنيه
With true intention
Arise, my boon companion, let us seize
قم يا نديم نغتنمْ
ساعة هنيه
An hour of bliss
The breeze blew, and the sublime gathering
هبَ النسيمْ طابت
الحضره العليه
Became fragrant
Our joy at the Prophet
يا فرحنا بالنبي
جانا بالكرامه
Who came to us generously
On the Day of Judgment
يومْ الحسابْ
أمته تبقى علامه
His nation will remain a sign
And drinking from his basin
والشربُ من حوضه
يُبرى السقامه
Will cure all maladies
And the disbelievers, oh what a pity
والكافرين يا سلامْ
في نارْ حميه
In a blazing fire
Dwelling amidst hellfire
وسطِ الجحيم ساكنين
مع كلِ حيه
With every serpent
Arise, my boon companion, let us seize
قمْ يا نديمْ نغتنمْ
ساعه هنيه
An hour of bliss
