Cloaked in robes of radiant light.

Then, severed from his lovely grace,

My heart was left in poverty.

His nectar heals, were he to cure.

His shunning made the lover sick,

Though kindness could have eased the woe.

A captive bound, never set free.

And from that grief, I drank my fill.

How many hearts were cleft in two,

And innocent blood was spilled in vain?

And tears that flowed in endless chains,

Just like a cloud that bursts in flood.

The pure elixir of his mouth.

My liver has been seared to ash.

His torso rises o'er his hips,

A willow branch upon a dune.

His neck beneath his flowing hair

Is lightning flashing through the clouds.

Has grown deep roots of ancient stock.
