إِنَّ لِلأَرضِ وَالسَماءِ وَلِلما
إِ عَلَينا أَذِمَّةً لا تُذَمُّ
The earth and sky, and all therein
Bear marks of one I love in vain,
هِيَ بَعضُ اِسمِ مَن أُحِبُّ وَلاءً
وَبِتَكريرِ بَعضِها يَستَتِمُّ
Whose name in part if I rehearse,
Repeating it can only make my love grow worse.
