يَهْنِالْحُجَيْرَةَ أَنْ صَارَتْ مُكَبَّرَةً

حَتَّى أَنَافَتْ عَلَى الأَطْوَادِ وَالْقُنَنِ

May the little chamber rejoice that it has been exalted,

Until it towered over the great mountains and the summits,

وَاسْتَقْبَلَتْهَا وُفُودُ الْفَخْرِ مُذْعِنَةً

لِمْ لاَ وَقَدْ حَازَهَا شَمْسُ الْهُدَى الْيَمَنِي

And delegations of glory received it in submission;

And why not, when it has been claimed by the Yemeni sun of guidance?
