ثَغْرُ السِّيَادَةِ قَدْ تَبَسَّمْ

عَنْ هَدْيِ قُدْوَتِنَا الْمُعَظَّمْ

The smile of sovereignty has bloomed

The mouth of sovereignty has blossomed into a smile,

About the guidance of our greatest role model

Revealing the guidance of our exalted exemplar;

وَبِحَمْدِهِ عَنْ قَصْدِهِ

طَيْرُ السَّعَادَةِ قَدْ تَرَنَّمْ

And by His grace, concerning His intent

And with his praise, expressing his noble intent,

The bird of happiness has sung

The bird of happiness has chanted its song.

شَمْسُ الْمَفَاخِرِ فِي الأَوَا

خِرِ فِيهِ سَائِرُ مَنْ تَقَدَّمْ

The sun of glories in the horizons

He is the sun of glories in the lat-

Including all those who preceded

-ter days, embodying all who preceded him;

فَالْعِلْمُ حَشْوُ بُرُودِهِ

وَالْحِلْمُ رَائِدُهُ الْمُقَدَّمْ

Thus knowledge adorns his integrity

For knowledge is the very substance within his cloaks,

And forbearance, his foremost guide

And forbearance is his foremost guide.

وَالدِّينُ وَالتَّوْفِيقُ مِنْ

لَفْظِ الثَّنَاءِ عَلَيْهِ يُعْلَمْ

And religion and success from

And religion and divine grace, from the

The words of praise for him are known

Spoken words of his praise, are made known.

إِذْ مَدْحُ أَعْلاَمِ الْهُدَى

لِرُقَيِّ دِينِ اللهِ سُلَّمْ

As praising the flags of guidance

Since praising the beacons of guidance

Is a ladder to ascending the religion of God

Is a ladder to the ascent of Allah's religion.

مَقْفَوُّ أَحْمَدَ وَالْهُدَى

خِلاَّنِ ذَاكَ بِذَاكَ مُغْرَمْ

Enamored with Ahmad and guidance

The follower of Ahmad, and guidance itself,

Those two are infatuated with each other

Are close companions, each enamored with the other.

أَبْنِيَةَ الْوَرَعِ التِي

طَافَ الرَّشَادُ بِهَا وَأَحْرَمْ

The edifices of piety which

O edifices of piety, around which

Righteousness has revolved around and regarded as sacred

Righteousness has circumambulated and entered the sacred state;

إِنَّ السِّيَادَةَ أَحْرُفٌ

بِعُلاَكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ تُعْجَمْ

Indeed, o my Master, sovereignty is letters

Indeed, sovereignty is but undotted letters,

Rendered incomprehensible by your ascent

Which by your eminence, O my master, are pointed and defined.

وَلَدَيْكَ مَدْلُولُ الْحَقَا

ئِقِ وَالدَّقَائِقِ حَسْبُ يُفْهَمْ

And with you lies the meaning of truths

And with you, the meaning of tru-

And subtleties enough to be understood

-ths and subtleties is fully comprehended;

وَسَنَاكُمُ يُهْدِي إلَِى

دُرَرِ الْمَفَاخِرِ كَيْفَ تُنْظَمْ

And your authority guides towards

And your radiance serves as a guide to

The jewels of glories, however composed

The pearls of glory, revealing how they are strung.

فَاسْلَمْ لِتَنْوِيرِ الزَّمَا

نِ أَشَمْسَ بَهْجَتِهِ لِتَسْلَمْ

So submit to the enlightenment of time

So live long to illuminate the ti-

The most splendid of its joys so you may be safe

-mes, O sun of its joy, may you remain safe!
