حَيِّ السَّلاَلِمَ بِالسَّلاَمِ

مُغْنِي الْبَهَالِيلِ الْكِرَامِ

Greet As-Salalim with peace,

the dwelling of the generous, noble lords,

اَلنَّاصِبِينَ عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ

مَنَارَ فَضْلٍ لاَ يُرَامِ

Who raise up along the road

an unassailable beacon of grace,

وَالْمُطْعِمِينَ لِمَنْ يَمُرُّ

بِطَرِيقِهِمْ مُرَّ الطَّعَامِ

And who feed whoever passes by

upon their path, the finest food,

وَالْمُسْبِلِينَ عَلَى الْمُزِيلِ

سَحَابَ بِرٍّ ذَا انْسِجَامِ

And who pour down upon the guest

clouds of continuous, flowing bounty,

يُهْدِي إِلَيْهِمْ ضَيْفُهُمْ

إِيْمَاضَ بِشْرٍ وَابْتِسَامِ

To whom their guest presents

a gleam of joy and a smile.
