أَبَا عِمْرَانَ قَدْ جِئْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ
نُؤَمِّلُ عِنْدَكُمْ حُسْنَ الْمُرَادِ
O Aba Imran, we have come unto you,
Hoping to find with you the fairest of desires.
فَعِنْدَكَ ما يُرَجِّيهِ الْمُعَنَّى
وَعِنْدَكَ مَا يُؤَمِّلُهُ الْمُنَادِي
For with you lies what the afflicted soul yearns for,
And with you is what the caller hopes to attain.
قَصَدْنَا بَحْرَ جُودِكَ وَهْوَ طَامٍ
وَنَحْنُ لِعَذْبِهِ الْمَرْوِي صَوَادِي
We sought the ocean of your generosity while it overflows,
While we thirst for its sweet, quenching waters.
قَصَدْنَا رَوْضَ فَضْلِكَ وَْهْوَ زَاهٍ
وَقَدْ شَمَتَتْ بِنَا زُمَرُ الأَعَادِي
We sought the garden of your grace while it blossoms in splendor,
As throngs of enemies rejoice at our misfortune.
قصَدنَا حِمَاكَ مُجْتَمَعَ الأَمَانِي
عَلَى حِينَ اشْتَفَتْ مِنِّي الْعَوَادِي
We sought your sanctuary, the gathering place of hopes,
At a time when calamities have taken their full toll upon me.
قصَدنَا حِمَاكَ وَهْوَ مَحَلُّ نُورٍ
عَلَى حِينَ ادْلَهَمَّتْ لِي بِلاَدِي
We sought your sanctuary, a dwelling place of light,
At a time when my lands have grown pitch black to me,
وَصَيَّرَنِي بِهَا فَرْداً غَرِيباً
لَدَى الأَهْلِينَ مَا أَفْنَى تِلاَدِي
And made me a lonely stranger within them,
Among my own kin, through the loss of my inherited wealth.
أَرَاعِي مَنْ أَتَاهُ ارْعَ الذِي قَدْ
أَتَاكَ بِوُلْدِهِ مِنْ كُلِّ عَادِ
O guardian of those who come to him, guard the one who has
Come to you with his children, fleeing every oppressor.
أَتَاكَ بِصِبْيَةٍ زُغْبٍ فِرَاخٍ
تَمُدُّ لِحَبِّ جَدْوَاكَ الْهَوَادِي
He came to you with downy-feathered little ones, like chicks,
Stretching their necks for the grain of your generosity.
تَوَسَّلْ لِي إِلَى خَيْرِ الْعِبَادِ
مُرِيحِ الْخَلْقَ فِي يَوْمِ الْمَعَادِ
Intercede for me with the best of all creation,
The bringer of relief to humanity on the Day of Return.
رَسْولِ اللهِ مَوْلاَنَا الْمُرَجَّى
لِكَشْفِ الضَُّر مِقُبَاِِسِ الرَّشَادِ
The Messenger of Allah, our master, the hoped-for one
To lift away adversity, the blazing torch of guidance.
صَلاَةُ اللهِ مُهْدِيهِ إِلَيْنَا
عَلَيْهِ مَا شَدَا فِي الرَّوْضِ شَادِ
May the blessings of Allah, who gifted him to us,
Be upon him as long as a singer sings in the garden.
وَآلِهِ وَالصِّحَابِ وَمَنْ تَلاَهُمْ
بِإِحْسَانٍ إِلَى يَوْمِ التَّنَادِي
And upon his family, companions, and whoever follows them
With excellence, until the Day of Summoning.
أَرَبَّ الْخَلْقِ بِالْمُخْتَارِ أَسْبِلْ
عَلَيَّ مَوَاهِباً مِثْلَ الْعِهَادِ
O Lord of Creation, by the Chosen One, pour down
Upon me gifts like continuous spring rains.
فَأَيْدِي صِبْيَتِي مُدَّتْ إِلَيْكُمْ
لِتَظْفَرَ مِنْ نَوَالِكِ بِالأَيَادِي
For the hands of my little ones are outstretched to You,
To triumph in gaining bounties from Your grace.
وَنَزِّهْنَا عَنْ أَغْرَاضِ الْعِبَادِ
وَسَدِّدْنَا إِلَى طُرْقِ السَّدَادِ
And purify us from the worldly aims of men,
And guide our steps unto the paths of righteousness.
وَقَرِّبْنَا مِنْ أَسْبابِ التَّنادِي
وَباعِدْنا عَنْ أَسْبابِ الْبِعادِ
And draw us near to the bonds of communion,
And distance us from the causes of estrangement.
بِأَصْلِ الأَصْلِ شَمْسِ الرُّسْلِ مُفْنِي
ظَلاَمَ الْمُبْطِلِينَ أَجَلِّ هَادِ
By the Root of Roots, the sun of messengers, the eradicator of
The darkness of the falsifiers, the most majestic guide.
صَلاَتُكَ لاَ تَزالُ عليهِ تَتْرَى
مُعَطَّرَةً لَهَا الرِّضْوانُ حَادِ
May Your blessings unceasingly shower upon him in succession,
Perfumed, driven forward by divine pleasure,
تَعُمُّ الآلَ وَالأَصْحابَ طُرّاً
وَسَالِكَ نَهْجِهِمْ فِي كُلِّ نَادِ
Encompassing his family and companions altogether,
And whoever walks their path in every assembly.
