The season of hopes has arrived
Relieving all sorrows
So rise with us and hasten
To the garden's great canopy
Arise and pour, O tavern-keeper
And fill the cups of wine to the brim
A reddish wine like the color of fire
That drives away all grief
Do you not see the blossoms
Have embroidered the great trees
And the birds have sung their trills
Enrapturing the branches
And the rose has put to shame
The red anemones
And the flowers have arranged
The turbans of the trees
And the blossoms revelled drunkenly
With the wine of the rivers
For this one is like gold
And that one is like crystal
Of a pale, languishing yellow
And a captivating white
And a dewy red
And a lush, leafy green
