يَا وَلِيَّ اللهِ يَا نَجْلَ الْحَسَنْ

يَا سَرِيّاً قَدْ حَوَى كُلَّ حَسَنْ

O God's Friend, O son of Al-Hasan

O saint of Allah, O descendant of Al-Hasan,

O secret that encompasses all beauty

O noble master who has encompassed every excellence,

اِمْنَحِ الضَّمْآنَ مِنْ أَبْحُرِكُمْ

نُغْبَةً تُطْفِئُ مَوْقُودَ الشَّجَنْ

Grant us assurance from your seas

Bestow upon the thirsty from your oceans

A relief that extinguishes the fire of agony

A single sip to extinguish the burning of sorrow,

بِرَسُولِ اللهِ يَنْبُوعِ السَّنَا

خَيْرِ خَلْقِ اللهِ شُؤْبُوبِ الْمِنَنْ

By God's Messenger, the spring of brilliance

By the Messenger of Allah, the fountain of radiance,

The best of God's creation, abundant in blessings

The best of Allah's creation, the downpour of blessings.
