The grace is only my Lord's grace

Grace is but the grace of my Lord, exalted is

Exalted be He, our great Creator

God, our Creator of magnificent glory.

He feeds the righteous with righteousness without

He feeds the pious the wheat of piety, without

Evil and gives him the wine of kindness

Reproach, and pours for him the wine of beneficence.
