The son of Ghazi attacked the domains of wit
Ibn Ghazi has raided the arts of cunning,
Kindling in its citadels the fires of his determination
igniting his fire within its towering fortresses;
And the eminent president supported him
And the noble chief—may God grant him
He confronted its night, thus illuminating it
support—confronted his night and brought it light.
How can you expect after that his downfall
How can you hope, after that, for him to stumble?
I don't foresee his youthful vigor ever fading
I do not see how you could ever dull his blade.
