With you, pearl, the pearls shine as the adornment of time
Through you, the pearl—O pearl who is the ornament of the age—
It rose high, without that it would not have pleased the throat
Is exalted; without this, it would hold no charm upon the neck.
And in your rhymed words is a string of pearls
And within your composed verses are perfectly strung pearls,
For which the published melts from the essence of the sea
Before which the scattered pearls of the deep sea melt away.
And in a blossom from the garden of your flourishing poetry
And within the lush blossoms from the garden of your poetry,
Is the great glory of life, nothing else is in the blossom
Lies the greatest life for the mind, a life unfound in worldly flowers.
And your blossom remains for eternity while the blossom withers
Your blossoms endure through the ages, while earthly flowers wither;
You remained for eternity, not for the blossom and its withering
May you endure as time endures, unlike the fading flowers and radiant stars.
