I leaned my worries on Abu Zaid's door
I made my sorrows kneel at the door of Abu Zayd,
For I have weighed down my back and exceeded the hands
for they have burdened my back and grown too heavy for my hands.
Perhaps what God has brought of the remover of distress
Perhaps what God has granted him to dispel affliction
Will clasp my hopes with the bier of hands
will embrace my hopes with reviving hands.
