هَنِيئاً لِمَنْ أَحْسَنَ اللهُ لَهْ

وَجَادَ عَلَيْهِ بِمَا أَمَّلَهْ

Happy is he whom God has been good to

Blessed is the one to whom God has shown goodness,

And blessed with all he wished for

And generously granted what he had hoped for,

وَأَنْقَذَهُ مِنْ عَنَا نَفْسِهِ

فَكَانَتْ لَهُ أَوْ عَلََيْهِ وَلَهْ

And saved him from his soul's distress

And rescued him from the anguish of his own soul,

Whether it was for him or against him

So whether it favored or opposed him, he was lost in rapture.
