The God in my heart that you have oriented
Fear God concerning my heart, which you have set ablaze,
With the blaze of your abandonment, so fiery and burning
In the inferno of your abandonment, with its scorching, burning heat.
Have mercy upon it, O moon that
Be gentle with it, O radiant moon, whose light
Has no sunset apart from an orient
Leaves neither the west nor the east devoid of its presence.
