Remember me sometimes, my son
I was reminded of my little son, Quwaysim,
And memories unleash the eloquent tongue
And memory unties the tongue of the inarticulate.
O Lord, gather us together in life
O Lord, bring us together in the dwelling-place,
O Living One, no life without Him thrives
O Living One, whom no living being can do without,
A gathering that disperses hordes astray
A gathering that disperses the multitudes of error,
Like clouds converge where meadows pray
Like uniting the thirsty with the quenching drink.
