As if the river's water were
And as if upon the river's water had alighted
The white doves on a bright morn,
White doves on a radiant morning,
And the sun had shed its rays upon it -
And the sun had scattered its rays upon it,
Molten clarity in chalices of gems.
Like melted pure gold topped by chalices of gems.
