Poetry of every foolish one has transgressed against me
Poetry has incited every fool against me,
So I abandoned it then, with disinterest in it
So I abandoned it then, in pure renunciation.
I ask the Most Merciful for forgiveness for what I listened to
I seek forgiveness from the Most Merciful for what I have fashioned
Of its fine adornments, to other than its rightful owners
Of its most radiant ornaments for those unworthy of them.
