أَسْعدَكَ اللهُ بِالْوَلَدْ

يَا أَيُّهَا السَّيِّدُ السَّنَدْ

May God bring you bliss with a son,

May God grant you happiness through this child,

O you, the pillar of support.

O noble master and steadfast pillar,

عَرَّفَكَ اللهُ يِمَنِّهِ

مُكَثِّراً لَكُمُ الْمَدَدْ

May God make you recognize His graces,

May God acquaint you with His favor,

Increasing for you assistance,

Multiplying the blessings bestowed upon you,

وَنِلْتًمُ خَيْرَ ذَا الْبَلَدْ

بِوَالِدٍ مَعْ مَا وَلَدْ

And you obtained the best of this land,

And may you attain the very best of this land,

With a father despite what he begot.

For the father alongside the child he has begotten.
