يَا رَبِّ أَدْفِئْنِي فَقَدْ خَصِرْتُ

يَا رَبِّ رَبِّحْنِي فَقَدْ خَسِرْتُ

O Lord, warm me for I have shivered

O Lord, warm me, for I have grown cold

O Lord, profit me for I have lost

O Lord, grant me gain, for I have suffered loss

يَا رَبِّ أَعْطِنِي فَقَدْ أَقْفَرْتُ

يَا رَبِّ اغْنِنِي أَنَا افْتَقَرْتُ

O Lord, give me for I have become barren

O Lord, give to me, for I am desolate

O Lord, enrich me for I have become impoverished

O Lord, enrich me, for I have become impoverished

يَا رَبِّ أَحْسِنْ لِي فَقَدْ أسأت

يَا رَبِّ خَرَّقْتُ وَمَا رَفَأْتُ

O Lord, be good to me for I have done evil

O Lord, show me goodness, for I have done wrong

O Lord, I am torn and have not mended

O Lord, I have torn, and I have not mended

يَا رَبِّ أَصْلِحْنِي فَقَدْ فَسَدْتُ

يَا رَبِّ نَفِّقْنِي فَقَدْ كَسَدْتُ

O Lord, reform me for I have become corrupt

O Lord, rectify me, for I have become corrupted

O Lord, lavish upon me for I have become miserly

O Lord, grant me worth, for I have stagnated

يَا رَبِّ فَاغْفِرْ لِي الذِي صَنَعْتُ

وَلاَ تُعَامِلْنِي بِمَا ضَيَّعْتُ

O Lord, forgive me for what I have done

O Lord, so forgive me for what I have done

And do not repay me for what I have squandered

And do not treat me according to what I have squandered

وَلاَ تُعَذِّبْنِي بِمَا أَعْلَنْتُ

وَلاَ تُوَاخِذْنِي بِمَا أسْرَرْتُ

And do not torment me for what I have openly declared

And do not punish me for what I have made public

And do not punish me for what I have secretly concealed

And do not hold me accountable for what I have kept secret

إِنِّي إِلَيْكَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي تُبْتُ

وَبِمَحَبَّةِ الْهُدَى مَتَتُّ

Indeed, I repent to You from my sins

Indeed, to You I have repented from my sins

And I have repented through the love of guidance

And through the love of guidance I have sought connection

وَبِالنَّبِيِّ الْمُصْطَفَى سَأَلْتُ

وَبِجَنَابِهِ قَدِ اعْتَصَمْتُ

And I have asked by the Chosen Prophet

And by the Chosen Prophet I have made my plea

And I have sought refuge in his side

And in his sanctuary I have taken refuge

وَفِي زِمَامِ حُبِّهِ ارْتَسَمْتُ

وَإِنْ أَكُنْ عَنْ هَدْيِهِ قَدْ نِمْتُ

And I have held fast to the rein of his love

And to the reins of his love I have submitted

And if I have slept from his guidance

And even if I have slept, heedless of his guidance

يَا رَبِّ مَا عُذْرِي وَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ

عَلَيْهِ صَلَّيْتُ وَقَدْ سَلَّمْتُ

O Lord, what is my excuse when You know

O Lord, what is my excuse, when I have known?

Upon him I have prayed and greeted

Upon him I have sent blessings and peace
