I met, O Lord, from deep sorrows
I have suffered, O Lord, at the hands of Ghamur,
A joy that brings happiness and cheer
A severe affliction that banishes all joy.
O Lord, pour upon it copiously
O our Lord, pour down upon him in torrents
Your torment that shatters the arrogant
Your back-breaking scourge.
And unleash, O our Lord, upon it
And unleash against him, O our Lord,
Raids of your devastating earthquake
The onslaughts of Your annihilating quake.
And destroy, O Lord, what it has built
And demolish, O Lord, what he has erected
Of the Kaaba of injustice and immorality
As a shrine of tyranny and wickedness.
In Your Greatest Name, make it humiliated
By Your Greatest Name, subject him to a disgrace
Inflicting on it the bitterness of eras
That makes him taste the bitter pain of the ages.
